Thank you to all the parents that were able to attend Pastries with Parents last Friday.
Kindergarten Round-up
It is just around the corner for anyone looking for kindergarten next school year.  There will be two Fridays in April, where we will not be having class for our kinders due to round-up. The dates are April 12th & April 26th.  If you know of anyone interested in kindergarten for next school year, please have them contact MaryBeth in the elementary school office to schedule an appointment.
 Reading Month!
During reading month, the children will be earning reading tickets for time engaged in reading, during school.  The tickets will be collected in class and at the end of the month, tickets will be drawn for prizes at an assembly.
Our school theme is “Red Carpet Reading.”  Each grade is focusing in on a genre of literature.  Kindergarten’s focus is nursery rhymes.  We will be creating a nursery rhyme book throughout the month, that they can keep.  We will be having reading buddies with Mrs. Wilson’s 5th class on Wednesdays, and we are having a special guest reading next Monday.  We will be reading in the dark too on a few days so please have your kiddos bring in a flashlight to school, to keep in their book bins for the month.
Classroom Supplies
If you are feeling generous we are completely out of Clorox/Lysol wipes for our room and our glue stick supply is running low too.  Any and all donations are much appreciated!
