Fun to Be Fit Day!
This Friday, September 28

If you ordered a tee shirt, be on the look out for them coming home this week.  Please have your kindergartener wear it on Friday.  We will head out to the track at 1 o’clock for an all school picture at 1:15. This is just for students and staff.  Parents after the picture please feel free to meet us at our meeting spot to walk, jog, or run with your kiddo.  At 2 o’clock we will be finishing up.  We will be walking back to our classroom and there, parents can sign the kids out for the rest of the day.

Apple Week this week!

We will be exploring apples all week long and learning about Johnny Appleseed.  We will be graphing our favorite apple, science with apples, measuring with apples, apple tasting, cooking, and writing about apples too.

If you offered to donate a bag of apples please send them in or if you forgot what kind please email me and we can work it out.  We need...

3 bags of green apples
1 of red (Gala or other)
1 of Golden delishious
1 gallon of apple cider
1 gallon of apple juice
apple butter for tasting.

If you are willing to donate something please shoot me a message.  I'd love to have everything by Wednesday.  If you’d like to volunteer in the classroom on Friday, to help out with our apple stations please just let me know too if your free or willing.  Remember you have to have your background check cleared by the office before volunteering in the rooms.

Most of our kiddos are finished with all of our testing.  I will be compiling all of their scores and data to send out to you all next Friday, Oct. 5th.  Please do not hesitate to contact me about their results.  We will be going over them again during our parent-teacher conferences near the end of October.

October starts our Book-It – Pizza Hut reading challenge that runs through March.
